Your hosts at La Grange Vieille

Alex and Sabine Suter have worked on what is now La Grange Vieille for several years. Once a ruined farm house in the middle of the vineyards it has been transformed into a lovely house and garden with the small gîte attached.

Sabine, a passionate cook, grew up on her parents wine farm just a mile down the road and as a consequence has great affinity for this part of South East France. Alex met Sabine over 13 years ago when he came over from South Africa to learn viticulture. After they married he worked for several years in her father's vineyards before setting up his own landscaping and garden design business. Alex, having been born in England but educated in South Africa now speaks fluent French and Sabine, speaks English to a high standard.
